Free live Q&A · Tuesday 17 November · 4:30pm to 6pm Pacific
Live on Zoom for 90 minutes. Free, and no card needed.
On Tuesday 17 November, casting director Allen Hooper joins us live on Zoom for 90 minutes, and you ask the questions.
It's a Q&A, not a lecture. You bring the thing you've always wanted to ask a casting director, and he answers it.

Allen Hooper has worked in casting for over 20 years. He was the casting associate on Modern Family for all eleven seasons, from pilot to finale, a total of 250 episodes.
His casting director credits include the film Tapawingo and Sci-Fest: The Los Angeles Science Fiction One-Act Play Festival, which ran for three seasons.
Allen started out as an actor, with roles in Our Town and King Lear for the Atlanta Shakespeare Company.
The best questions come from actors who have done their homework. Watch an episode or two of Modern Family, and Tapawingo if you can find it.
Notice the casting. Who surprised you? Which role would you have walked in for, and how? Then bring a question about something specific you saw. That is the kind of question a casting director remembers.
A couple of days before the session, everyone registered gets an email with a form to add a link to their current reel. Allen gets the list.
Whether he clicks yours is up to her. So your job on the night is simple: ask the question that makes him curious enough to want to watch your work.
Everyone who registers gets a free month of Silver membership the day after: the full library of 3,000+ videos, the Journey masterclasses and the community. You add a card when you redeem it, nothing is charged until the free month plus seven days are up, we'll remind you a week before, and you can cancel in two clicks from your account page.
Nobody can promise you auditions, and you should be wary of anyone who does. What we can promise is ninety minutes with someone who watches tapes for a living, and your question answered.
It is live only, with no recording. If you want to hear the answers, be there.
Tuesday 17 November, 4:30pm to 6pm Pacific. That's 7:30pm to 9pm in New York, and 11:30am Wednesday 18 November in Sydney.
Hosted by Secret Actor Society, founded by working actors Kym Jackson and Andrew Steel.
