Accent training is vital for anyone coming to Hollywood from overseas.
A bad actor with a good USA accent can get away with saying five lines as a cop on a TV show. But a great actor with a bad USA accent will never book that role, because why would they add dialogue to explain why the cop in Philly has a Russian background?
Get your US accent up to scratch by taking the time to perfect it. This means hard work. And, often, it also means taking accent classes.
